The optimal economic and technical solution for powering the boiler directly from photovoltaics without the need for large, heavy and expensive technology. According to the set mode, the device directly feeds the boiler from the solar panel production without unnecessary losses.

For optimum efficiency, the power from the panels is processed through the MPPT, ensuring the optimum operating point and highest efficiency of power generation. Since the boiler is essentially a purely ohmic load, the power is processed from virtually the first watt (>50W of production) of energy from the panels directly to the
hot water.

Given the versatility of the application, the output voltage is AC at mains frequency, thus eliminating the need for special boilers for DC power. The unit is designed for an input voltage of 120 to 400 V DC, taking into account the operating voltage of the boiler heating cartridge.

In practice, a combination of four to five 450-550 W panels with a 230 V boiler is optimal. A temperature sensor is supplied with the unit which allows the final temperature to be set for heating from the PV or HDO, depending on the mode of operation.

The unit does not need an HDO signal supply, it can be switched directly as an appliance (boiler). The unit is of course equipped with a fuse on the DC side and a disconnector.
