Aiko Solar has been a world leader in solar cell manufacturing for years and has invested heavily in its own research. This has enabled it to bring to the market the innovative ABC (All Back Contact) cell technology that makes up the unique Black Hole series of panels. The high-performance 450W panel convinces with a peak efficiency of 23.0% and all underlined by the fact that these key parameters are delivered by a panel with an area of less than 2m2. The Black Hole panels have no bus bars on the front and feature a compact black design, including the frame. In the event of minor soiling or localised shading of a small part of the panel, only the area of the cells physically affected will be reduced in performance.
This makes the panel ideal not only for demanding households or small rooftops, but also for larger systems where maximum yield is important.
