SolarEdge inverters do not have an MPP tracker, but 2 inputs for SolarEdge panel optimizers. With fixed voltage technology, the SolarEdge inverter always operates in the optimal input voltage range and independent of the number of panels and strings. By stringing, the power data from each individual PV panel optimizer is transmitted to the SolarEdge inverter and can be visualized on the web-based SolarEdge Monitoring Portal.
The new SolarEdge inverters of the N4 series are without display. You can quickly and easily set up the inverter using the SolarEdge app on your smartphone.
