The RSS transmitter sends a signal to the TS4-F and TS4-A-2F units to keep the PV modules connected when they are on and supplying power. The TS4-F units automatically go into fast shutdown mode when the RSS transmitter is turned off and resume power generation when power is restored to the RSS transmitter. This solution complies with NEC 2014, 2017 and 2020 690.12 specifications for fast shutdown using power-line communications (PLC). Available as a kit, DIN rail or PCBA for integration into inverters.
