Basic construction
The LC-50 switchboard consists of a demountable skeleton consisting of a bottom, a ceiling and four racks to which horizontal partitions are attached. Vertical rails are attached to the partitions to allow the installation of equipment in the 19" size standard. On the front side, the cabinet is fitted with an all-glass door made of clear toughened safety glass (EN 12150-1). The door has a maximum opening angle of 180° and is fitted with a cylinder lock with single-point locking. The design of the cabinet allows the direction of opening of the door to be changed. The removable rear sheet metal door and the side screens are fixed by cylindrical locks with the same key as the door. A cable passage is mounted in the rear wall with a dust brush installed.
There are openings in the ceiling and at the bottom for cable entry and hot air exhaust, closed with breakaway plugs. The plugs can be removed from the openings by cutting the bridges connecting them to the bottom or ceiling of the enclosure. The warm air outlets are adapted for the installation of a VJ-R2, 4 or 6 ventilation unit. The cable inlet openings allow the introduction of power cables terminated with a three-phase plug.

Vertical rails with 19" pitch
The rack includes two pairs of 19" vertical rails printed to identify the mounting height of the equipment to be installed. The design of the enclosure allows the vertical rails to be repositioned in the direction of the enclosure depth.

Connecting enclosures into assemblies
There are holes at the top and bottom of the sides of the enclosures to allow the enclosures to be joined together in assemblies. Additional fasteners must be used to connect two enclosures together. The cabinets can be assembled into assemblies, rows, without removing the side panels.

Guaranteed load capacities
The maximum permissible total weight of the equipment mounted inside the enclosure must not exceed:
1 360 kg
for a cabinet with a depth of 1 000 mm built on feet, on a pedestal or directly on the floor (not applicable to 24U cabinet height)
1 000 kg
for a cabinet depth of 600 mm or 800 mm at all heights on legs, pedestal or directly on the floor and for a 24U cabinet with a depth of 1 000 mm
500 kg
for a cabinet built on our standard castors
Load capacities are guaranteed under uniform static loading.

Positioning and alignment
Each enclosure includes four pieces of height adjustable levelling feet. These allow the enclosure to be positioned on uneven floors. If these feet are not used, the cabinet can be placed directly on the floor. There are no protruding elements on the bottom of the cabinet.

Ground connection of the cabinet
All components of the enclosure are conductively interconnected. The conductive connection of the doors and side covers to the enclosure skeleton is made using earth cables with a cross-section of 6 mm2 for a maximum current load of 63 A. For higher current loads on the enclosure, earth cables with a larger cross-section must be used.

Corrosion protection of the enclosure
As standard, the enclosures are supplied with a powder-coated finish in RAL 7035 light grey.
Internal mounting parts such as 19" vertical rails and partitions are plated with Al-Zn alloy.
