The Ex9BN series modular circuit breakers are universal devices for all kinds of applications meeting the high requirements of the EN 60898 standards for circuit breakers for domestic use with rated currents from 1 to 63 A. The short circuit breaking capacity I_cn is 6 kA. In both cases, the figure is valid for all versions of the circuit breakers, i.e. up to a rated current of 63 A with tripping characteristic D.

The Ex9BN circuit breaker version with a tripping capability of 6 kA is offered in 1 and 3-pole versions with tripping characteristics B, C and D. In terms of mechanical characteristics, this series is fully compatible with the 10 kA version.

The circuit breakers can be combined with a wide range of accessories including auxiliary and signal contacts, tripping triggers, under-voltage and over-voltage triggers or a protection module. Various combinations of accessories can be created. These are limited only by the total number, not the type of accessories - all components are combinable with each other. It is possible to use up to three auxiliary or signal contact units and up to two trigger units at the same time.
