The Fronius Smart Meter is a bi-directional power meter designed to optimize self-consumption, record load curves and manage different energy flows. Thanks to the high measurement accuracy and fast communication via Modbus RTU interface, faster and more accurate dynamic control can be achieved than with S0 meters in case of grid power supply limitations.

In combination with the Fronius Solar.web application, the Fronius Smart Meter offers a clear display of the self-consumed current. As part of the Fronius energy storage solution, the Smart Meter guarantees perfectly coordinated management of the individual energy flows and thus optimisation of the entire energy management. The Fronius Smart Meter is perfectly suited for use with GEN24 Plus inverters and all Fronius inverters with Fronius Datamanager 2.0.
